For 10 years there has been a Regional Chapter of Engineers without Borders in Ilmenau. But what is Engineers without Borders?
This question is answered by the exhibition on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Regional Chapter Ilmenau, which will run from 11 November 2023 to 18 November 2023 during opening hours (Mon-Fri: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sat: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) of the Ilmenau University Library (Langewiesener Straße 37, 98693 Ilmenau) in the vestibule.
Engineers without Borders is an association with a focus on development cooperation in the global south. The realization of the projects, which improve the life of the people on site, takes place together with the partners. The project groups of Engineers without Borders always work on an equal footing with their partners and thus create an identification with the project.
In the exhibition you can learn more about the general work of Engineers without Borders and about the Reional Chapter Ilmenau. Among other things, the Repariertreff Ilmenau and the education group of the Regional Chapter are introduced.
