The idea behind the EXPERTS MEET UP format

The "Experts Meet Up - Science Meets Business" series is jointly organized by the Technical University of Ilmenau, the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ilmenau and the clusters PolymerMat e.V. - Kunststoffcluster Thüringen, ELMUG eG - Elektronische Mess- und Gerätetechnik Thüringen eG and the regional district association of the BVMW (Der Mittelstand BVMW e.V.).

The format with approx. 20-25 participants offers individual networking as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas at a "round table" - this time during the tour and demonstration of the system. Otherwise, after 2-3 short impulses (max. 10 minutes), there will be a moderated discussion round, which will also serve to exchange experiences in research cooperations. In addition, participating companies should be motivated to approach the topic of research cooperation if they do not yet have their own activities in this area.
