How can a company’s resilience be strengthened in turbulent times?
What options are there for adapting business models and products to changing conditions?
What does a modern working environment look like in order to retain skilled workers in the region in the long term?
How do products and processes within a company need to be redesigned to meet resource requirements?
Our next Experts Meet Up will address these questions using practical examples from the collaboration between industry and academia in Thuringia.
Daniel Strobel – Sustainable work and securing a skilled workforce

The idea behind the EXPERTS MEET UP format:
The ‘Experts Meet Up – Science Meets Business’ series is jointly organised by the Technische Universität Ilmenau, the Mittelstand-Digital Centre Ilmenau and the clusters PolymerMat e.V. – Thuringia Plastics Cluster, ELMUG eG – Thuringia Electronic Measurement and Instrumentation Co-operative, and BVMW Thuringia (Der Mittelstand. BVMW e.V.).
With around 20–25 participants, the event offers not only opportunities for individual networking but also the chance to engage in a ‘round-table’ exchange through a moderated discussion, which is also intended to facilitate the sharing of experiences in research collaborations.
