Experts MeetUp - Science meets business

On March 17, 2022, the kick-off of a new event series "Experts Meet Up - Science Meets Business" will take place at 3:00 pm in the Meitnerbau of the TU Ilmenau under the topic "Transformation of the energy industry in Germany and its impact on industry".

This year, PolymerMat e. V. Kunststoffcluster Thüringen, TU Ilmenau and ELMUG eG are holding four joint events as a non-public network meeting and discussion forum to facilitate the exchange of ideas on current issues in business, science and society.

The events are manageable with about 20 people and you will have the opportunity to share your perspective on the chosen key topics in a confidential setting. You will have the opportunity to network with other companies of the participating clusters as well as with scientists of the TU Ilmenau.

Through the joint dialog, we can learn from each other, share the borne responsibility of business and science for society and dare to look at the challenges of the future.

15:00-15:20: Welcome and round of introductions

15:20-15:35: Impulse on the topic: "Transformation of the energy industry in Germany and its impact on industry", Prof. Peter Bretschneider, Head of the Department of Energy Utilization Optimization, Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology

15:35-16:00: Entry into the discussion round, Moderator: Prof. Jens Müller, Vice President for International Affairs and Transfer

16:00-16:30: Coffee break for exchange and networking

16:30-17:30: Continuation of the discussion round

17:30-18:00: Conclusion of the event with individual discussion opportunities.
