The FabLab@TU-Ilmenau festival will take place on Thursday, October 24th, 2024. Our university's FabLab was created on the initiative of the Ilmkubator start-up service, the Central Institute for Education and the university library. In the FabLab, students and employees of the university can turn their own ideas into reality using modern production techniques. We are celebrating our two-year anniversary and invite you to explore our locations on the TU Ilmenau grounds at a rally. There are exciting projects at various stations that use milling machines, lasers, a sewing machine and several 3D printers - everything related to the big topic of "measuring". Already curious?
Start of the rally: October 24, between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., at the university library. From 7 p.m. there will be a celebration with food and drinks in front of the library.
Come by, take part in the rally or find out more about the FabLab in the library foyer. And celebrate in front of the library from 7 p.m.! By the way, “Libraries Day” will also take place on October 24th, 2024 - yet another reason to stop by.
