In this seminar, we will show you how to research scientifically relevant publications in free scientific search engines and in subject-specific databases in the field of economics and media studies. We will introduce you to search engines, their advantages and disadvantages as well as relevant subject databases and guide you to use their individual features.
The seminar is intended for advanced literature searchers who are already familiar with the basic functions of the search. It is based on our self-study course "Research: Searching and finding". Completion of this self-study course is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
