The Ilmenau Science Night 2026 brings together research, innovation and society: For one evening, we will open our laboratories, lecture halls and institutes to thousands of curious visitors. Science can be experienced - through hands-on experiments, lectures, exhibitions and a diverse supporting program.

Micro-Epsilon Ceramics develops and manufactures highly complex ceramic multilayer substrates that are used worldwide in sensors and devices in the semiconductor industry, aerospace and mechanical engineering. The basis is LTCC technology, with which electrical conductive paths, fluidic channels and other structures can be integrated directly into the ceramic. This results in compact, extremely robust and highly reliable components for state-of-the-art high-tech applications.
As a global group for technology and materials, we develop unique innovative solutions together. At our Ilmenau site, we produce ILMASIL® quartz glass - a preferred high-performance material for the semiconductor industry, specialty light sources and industrial and chemical applications.
