textilLAB OPEN INTRO (German)

The “textilLAB OPEN INTRO” offers participants a flexible opportunity to obtain a machine licence for either the two Sewing machines, the Overlock  or the Embroidery machine. No prior registration via turm 2 is required.

Where?: Makerspace@UB

When?: 21 September 2026, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

How long?: Each machine training session will take approximately 1 hour.

To take part, you must have successfully completed the self-study course for the relevant machine, as well as a knowledge test on working safely in the Makerspace@UB.

Once the machine introduction has been completed, participants may book the machines and use them independently, provided they hold a valid library card.
