The next “ThEFI Technology Update” from the Thuringian Energy Research Institute (ThEFI) will take place on November 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
in the conference and event room of the TU Ilmenau, at Willy-Brandt-Platz 1 in Erfurt.
Managing Director Mr. Wilfried Breuer, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen, will impressively demonstrate in his presentation on "Trends and consequences of global market development for the transformer market" how today's market growth is being served disproportionately by up-and-coming Chinese manufacturers and the consequences and implications for the existing international players in the industry.
Mr. Thomas Simon, Senior Sales Manager, will speak on "Technical application rules, harmonics on HV and MV grid connections". In particular, reference will be made to practical issues that accompany MR - Power Quality in its daily work.
The "ThEFI Technology Update" event is a regular series of lectures on insights and outlooks into the cooperation between research at TU Ilmenau and industrial partners. After the lectures, there will be an opportunity for professional exchange over a variety of wines and a snack.
