Workshop: ‘Vibrant Glass Surfaces XIII’

The “Living Glass Surfaces” workshop will be held for the 13th time at Technische Universität Ilmenau from 21 to 22 September 2026. In 2026, the event will be dedicated to the 66th birthday of the Head of the Inorganic and Non-metallic Materials Group, Prof. Edda Rädlein, and her inspiring research. We’ll be looking both at and beneath the surface to shed light on the solutions that current glass research offers for the challenges ahead in energy and medical technology, optoelectronics, sensor technology, packaging and the circular economy. Play an active part in shaping the programme with your presentation or poster, and look forward to exciting topics and excursions!
