Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT)

The double master's program takes place at the campus in Lappeenranta. The green city is home to around 73,000 inhabitants and enchants with a mixture of old and modern culture: museums, the fortress, small boutiques, cozy cafés, large shopping centers, but also beautiful parks and breathtaking nature are just a stone's throw away.

Course of study

Ablauf Doppelmaster TU Ilmenau und LUT

As a student of TU Ilmenau, you will spend the third and fourth semesters of the double master's program at LUT in Finland. You will write your Master's thesis during the second semester in Finland. You will agree the topic of your Master's thesis with your supervisor at the partner university and your home university. Your Master's thesis will be jointly supervised and assessed by both universities.

Admission requirements

Admission to the double degree program requires a successfully completed Bachelor's degree in a related Bachelor's program. In addition to a very good command of English, you need a good grade point average in the courses relevant to the double degree program.

 

Application procedure

Are you interested? Then apply to your examination office at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with a letter of motivation, your proof of English and your most recent overview of grades. Participants in the double degree are selected and admitted by the examination board.
