    Blarney Castle and Gardens comprises 100 acres of managed gardens and arboretums. Our focus is managing the gardens in a Robinsonian style with nature and wildlife at the core of what we do. We have 12 gardeners, 2 tree surgeons, a groundsman, stonemason and beekeeper working fulltime with some part time workers and students also during the summer months. Over the last 20 years different gardens have been developed amongst the mature woodland setting which include fern garden, winter borders, herbaceous borders, tropical and jungle garden, poison garden, camellia walk and stumpery. The aim is to create interest and colour at all times of the year.
    During an internship typically a student will get to work in lots of different areas of the garden undertaking seasonal gardening jobs like pruning, planting, watering, mulching, weeding and propagation. There is also the opportunity to get involved in our kitchen garden planting and harvesting seasonal crops, soft and top fruit.
    There is opportunity to learn about and get involved in many areas including tree surgery, vegetable and fruit production, beekeeping, ornamental tree and shrub planting, herbaceous planting, tropical planting, arboretum care and growing trees from all over the world.
    Having some English is very helpful for both the students and the gardens team to provide instruction for the duration of the internship. 8-12 weeks is a good length to time for an internship as it allows the students some time to get into the routine of how the gardens team operate. We can offer payment of €254 per week plus accommodation in a shared house in the village of Blarney.

    The coaches work 5.5 days and have 1.5 days off. They have no additional costs for accommodation and meals.     Futuraskolan Stockholm is a bilingual school located in Stockholm, Sweden. They follow the Swedish curriculum and their student body is between 6 and 15 years old. Their student and teacher body is very diverse and international.

    Intern will have the task of observing experienced teachers in their subject/elective and plan and conduct their own series of lessons under the supervision of the experienced teacher. Intern will also support students in their subject/preferred subject.

    Desired subject area - elementary school from grade 0 to 9 according to the Swedish curriculum, all subjects.

    EPPPS (Space for the Prototyping and Production of Sustainable Projects) is a very interesting space for the network where it is possible to organize many different activities such as meetings, workshops, seminars and courses in a unique way.The principles of EPPPS are sustainability, circular economy and self-sufficiency.

    EPPPS supports innovative communities in the city and facilitates access to digital and conventional manufacturing technologies. The focus is on social issues and education, promoting the use of design for social change. Makea promotes knowledge sharing and collective creativity and applies each of these principles to a range of upcycling and reuse projects in different contexts and situations.

    During the internship, the intern will support the Makea team and actively participate in the development of their projects and the makerspace they promote. The intern will assist in the elaboration of design projects for objects and spaces, in the production of prototypes in the workshop, in the organization and implementation of courses and other activities, in the documentation of the creative processes and in the communication of the studio through the website and social networks.

    This is an animation/design studio focusing on animation for museum installations and exhibitions. They offer concepts, art direction and animation as their main activity. They have been making visuals for bands, festivals and concerts for over 15 years.

    Tasks during the internship:
    They offer a flat structure where the intern can be part of a process from start to finish. This includes development, research, design and animation for various installations.

    Desired field of study: Animation, visual programming, interactive design - anything to do with moving images.
