26 June: Virtual study information day at the TU Ilmenau

In addition to lectures on all degree programmes at TU Ilmenau, there are exciting videos, virtual tours of laboratories and examples of experiments. Employees of the university and the Studierendenwerk Thüringen are available in chats for all questions about studying, application and enrolment, housing and student financing. Representatives of student associations will provide information about leisure activities and exciting student projects. A highlight is a live tour of the university campus on the Instagram channel of the TU Ilmenau (@tu.ilmenau) with exciting insights into the club and campus life of the university.

Important for all those interested in studying: TU Ilmenau's degree programmes have just been modernised - both in terms of content, structure and study times. For example, innovative content from teaching and research will be integrated into the courses of study and several courses of study will be converted to 6 to 4, i.e. the Bachelor's course will in future comprise six semesters instead of seven and the Master's course four semesters instead of three.

For all Bachelor's and Diploma degree programmes, NC-free enrolment for the winter semester 2021/22 is still possible until 15 October. The study information day is also interesting for those who have already applied to TU Ilmenau. They can still ask open questions about their studies or inquire about the application status.
