Business Model Workout - Module 1

Ever wondered how to create a business model from scratch?

In our three-part workshop series “Business Model Workout“ you will learn the basics of innovative start-ups and how to develop business models - in just 10 hours!

Use creative and collaborative methods to make your products or services unique, sharpen your customer focus, and understand how to beat the competition.

Module 1: Idea, Customer and Product (June 8, 9 am - 1 pm)

Learn how to use creativity techniques to come up with ideas and solutions to specific problems. Understand who your target customer is and what they need.

Module 2: Business Model Design (June 22, 9 am - 1 pm)

Understand the differences of specific business models and revenue streams. What are the core components of a business and what to be aware of?

Module 3: Market and Competition (July 6, 9 am - 1 pm)

There is always an alternative for your customers. Learn how to analyze your competitors and where market potential lies.

The workshop series will be held in English at the Ilmkubator Finnhütten (Langewiesener Straße 32) and can be credited to the extent of 30 work units for the certificate "Entrepreneurial Skills".
It is open to all students and employees of TU Ilmenau.

Please register via Turm II for this course. (Note: With the registration, you’ll take part in all three modules. It is not possible to attend just a single date.)

Fancy the workshops but have no business idea at the moment? No problem! In the first workshop, we will identify exciting topics and develop new ideas. Of course, you can bring your own idea and work on it.
