New impulses for communication research: Max Schindler engages in DGPuK working groups

We are pleased to share that Max Schindler from the CCS team is involved in two working groups of the German Communication Association (DGPuK).

Together with Miriam Bernhard (Chair of Media and Communication Management, TU Ilmenau), he co-initiated the newly founded Working Group “AI in Communication Research”. This group focuses on current and future challenges and opportunities arising from the use of (generative) artificial intelligence in the field of communication studies. Its core mission is to critically and normatively engage with the implications of AI for research processes, scientific integrity, teaching, and academic training. The working group aims to offer guidance, provide impulses for the scholarly community, and actively shape the ongoing discourse on AI-supported research and communication.
The group currently includes 17 members from various universities and research institutions. Interested colleagues are warmly invited to join.

In addition, Max Schindler is also part of the DGPuK Postdoc Working Group. The most recent issue of AVISO features a contribution from this group, which can be accessed here:
