Dr. Pauline Estella Joins Editorial Board of Academic Journal “Media Asia”

Dr. Pauline Gidget Estella, a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Media Studies, is now part of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Media Asia journal, a Scopus-indexed journal published by Taylor and Francis.

Media Asia, a Q2 journal, focuses on research related to journalism, advertising, public relations, and other aspects of media primarily in the Asian context. Dr. Estella’s work focuses on the intersections of journalism professionalization, crisis communication, and decoloniality. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow working on journalism competence and education in the context of evolving AI technologies, funded by the State Ministry of Thüringen and the university.
