To mark Start-up Week, the nationwide campaign week organized by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection for self-employment, the TU Ilmenau is inviting people to plant trees in the "Gründungswald" ("Start-up Forest"). Anyone interested can plant a tree in the Stützerbach district of Ilmenau on November 16 and thus not only ensure sustainability in nature, but also raise public awareness of the topic of self-employment and start-ups. Following the joint planting campaign, the TU Ilmenau invites you to a snack in the rooms of the Ilmkubator.

The tree planting campaign is a joint initiative of the TU Ilmenau Ilmkubator start-up service and theThüringenforst state forestry administration. The Ilmkubator supports people who want to set up a company, from the idea to the foundation. With the tree planting campaign "Gründungswald", the TU Ilmenau wants to set a "growing" example for sustainability and biodiversity and at the same time promote the establishment of a company in Ilmenau and the region. When the seedlings have grown into young trees, Thüringenforst will erect an information board in the founding forest.
