After three years of war in Ukraine, the USA under President Trump is moving towards Russia -- without, however, involving Ukraine and European partners. The implications of this shift for Ukraine, Europe, and the security architecture of Western democracies are explored in the Hessischer Rundfunk program "Der Tag." In this context, Prof. Martin Löffelholz, director of the International Crisis Communication Research Group of Technische Universität Ilmenau, analyzes the ongoing "war of narratives" and classifies which strategic interests are becoming visible.
