The team from the "User-centric Analysis of Multimedia Data Group" presented two papers in Montréal, Canada

At the 28th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (HCII), which took place in Montréal in July, Chikita Rini Lengkong and Ulrike Czaska from the “User-centric Analysis of Multimedia Data Group" presented their latest research. As part of the MobiTAS conference (HCI in Mobility, Transport and Automotive Systems), the two researchers presented their papers to an international audience.

In her paper “Rethinking Travel Planning: How Mobility-as-a-Service Platforms Support Travellers with Mobility Restrictions?”, Chikita Rini Lengkong addressed the question of how mobility platforms can better support travellers with limited mobility in their planning. Conference paper

Ulrike Czaska presented “From Static to Interactive: A User-Centred, Multi-Layered Creation Process for Mobility Data Storytelling”, an user-centred, multi-layered design process that demonstrates how static mobility data can be translated into interactive, comprehensible data stories.

HCI International is one of the 20 most important academic conferences on the topic of ‘Human-Computer Interaction’.
