In nine months to your own start-up - The Ilmkubator Class goes into the second round

The Ilmkubator - TU Ilmenau's start-up service - invites interested parties to apply for a place in the Ilmkubator Class 2021. After the successful first round, the intensive coaching program of the Gründerservice starts in April 2021 in the second round.

Up to six teams and individual founders will have the opportunity to further develop their start-up idea in six modules with the support of Ilmkubator coaches, mentors from the business world and experts.

The program

Together with peer founders, all important start-up topics are explored in the Ilmkubator Class and applied to one's own idea. Within the 9-month program, the market is analyzed and strategies for market entry and target group approach are developed. Legal and financial framework conditions are also considered in the Ilmkubator Class in order to pave the way for the start-up idea. Regular coaching sessions help participants to focus on their own goals, such as prototype construction or the first business plan.

In addition, all participants receive their own office space in the Ilmkubator and have the option of a non-cash budget of up to 300 euros, which can be used for prototype development, for example. Furthermore, the teams of the class can participate in networking events and establish first important contacts in the region.

Participation in the Ilmkubator Class

Teams and individuals interested in the topics of founding and entrepreneurship can participate in the Ilmkubator Class. Whether there is already a concrete start-up project or only an idea is not decisive for the selection for participation. Interested ones can still submit a short profile of their idea under ilmkubator@tu-ilmenau.de up to 01. March. The participants will then be selected from all applications in a jury process and contacted by mid-March.

All start-up enthusiasts are also cordially invited to ask their questions about the Ilmkubator Class during the digital consultation hours. For this purpose, the coaches of the Class will be available on Thursday, February 11 (10:00-11:00 a.m.), and on Tuesday, February 16 (4:00-5:00 p.m.) at https://tu-ilmenau.webex.com/meet/franziska.dettke. No pre-registration is necessary.

The Ilmkubator Class programme is aimed at students and staff of the University and is free of charge for them. The Ilmkubator explicitly invites international and interdisciplinary teams to apply.
