From 12 to 14 March 2025, the seven energy technology professors from Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, TU Clausthal , TU Ilmenau and the University of Stuttgart met with 24 doctoral students at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH's Netzquartier for a scientific exchange.
They presented their research topics to each other and discussed their research results. Topics include active and reactive power at DSO/TSO interfaces and in the grids, balancing group loyalty, flexibility, fast charging of lithium-ion batteries, hydrogen and traveling waves in protection technology - an exciting mix.
"I am delighted that 50Hertz has organized the colloquium again. I am convinced that the intensive professional exchange between the universities and 50Hertz will lead to added value and new ideas for the transformation of the energy supply on both sides. All of the professors have one thing in common: they are graduates or long-standing cooperation partners of Prof. Styczynski, who has also left his mark on Netzquartier. Many thanks for the great organization, we are already looking forward to next year's event!
