PATON - Landespatentzentrum Thüringen invites all interested parties to an information event on the protection of intellectual property at the Erfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce on March 27. The event is aimed primarily at company management and employees, but also at company founders, independent inventors, university staff and students. Guests can expect specific recommendations from experts on how they can gain a competitive advantage by protecting their products by registering patents and trademarks. The event is free of charge.

Protecting intellectual property is crucial to safeguarding innovations against misuse and thus gaining a competitive advantage on the market. Effective protection against counterfeiting can ensure long-term success for small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups in particular - the majority of companies in Thuringia.
Event "Protection is useful - with patents, trademarks & co. to (corporate) success"
Participants at the event will not only receive comprehensive information about protection and funding opportunities, they will also receive practical support. In presentations by experts, they will learn how they can protect and enforce their intellectual property by registering patents and trademarks and what support is available to them from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, PATON, the State Patent Center of Thuringia and the German Patent and Trademark Office. At the end of the event, they will enter into a direct exchange with the experts and receive specific personal recommendations for their own business area.
