MKM Department Contributes to Digital Transformation – Digi-B-Well Project Meeting in Bologna

Marco De Angelis

In June 2025, the partners of the Interreg Central Europe project DIGI-B-Well came together for the third time – this time in Bologna, Italy. The two-day meeting was hosted by the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. Nigar Zahan and Ahmad Makhlouf attended the event on behalf of the Department of Media and Communication Management. Since the project began in June 2024, the department has been working as the work package lead on developing a platform to present the project's results.

Focus of the Meeting

During the two-day event, key project milestones were presented and further developed:

  • Key results from the second project period

  • Presentation of the foresight scenarios and transnational digitalisation strategy

  • A live demo of the DIGI-B-WELL platform mockup

  • Dissemination of updates and planning for the next period

  • Preparations for the next reporting phase

Aim of the DIGI-B-Well Project

DIGI-B-Well pursues the goal of promoting digital transformation and reducing the related digital stress in Central Europe. The focus is on strengthening the digital skills of managers and employees in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), public administrations and academic institutions.

Targeted further training measures in technical (hard skills) and social skills (soft skills) are intended to prepare managers and employees for the challenges of the working world. This holistic approach promotes digital well-being, prevents digital stress and burnout and thus strengthens the long-term competitiveness of the participating organisations.
