Nationwide Library Day on October 24:

Thursday, October 24, is the nationwide day of libraries. Events are taking place in libraries up and down the country - including at Ilmenau University Library!

We are organizing the FabLab Festival together with the Ilmkubator and Unikat! The FabLab includes the Makerspace@UB, the Unikat student workshop and the Makerspace in the Ilmkubator - at these three locations, students and employees of the university can turn their own ideas into reality with the help of modern production techniques. FabLab@TU-Ilmenau is celebrating its two-year anniversary and invites you to explore the locations on the TU Ilmenau campus and the training workshop during a rally. There are exciting projects involving milling machines, lasers, a sewing machine and several 3D printers - all centered around the big topic of >measurement<. Curious yet?

Those interested can start the rally on 24.10. between 17:00 and 18:00 at the University Library. From 19:00, the bc-Club will provide all participants with food and drinks at cost price in front of the University Library.
