New Adjunct Professorship for Hospital Information Systems at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Informatics

On 21 July 2026, during our annual summer party, our Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Informatics welcomed apl. Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Kaeding as the new adjunct professor for the field of “Hospital Information Systems” at TU Ilmenau. With his many years of experience at the interface of medical informatics, digitalization, and healthcare, he will further strengthen practice-oriented education in the field of biomedical engineering. We look forward to continued collaboration in research and teaching.
