We welcome Dipl.-Ing. Marvin Henkel as a new associate member of our Research Training Group. Mr Henkel is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the research group of Nanofrabrication and Nanomeasurement Technology. He is working on the project ‘Interferometric, direct fibre-optic form measurement with six degrees of freedom’.
The aim is to develop a system using fibre segment interferometry (FSI) that enables shape detection in all six degrees of freedom.

We are delighted to have Mr Henkel on our team and look forward to a successful collaboration.
