Momin Salman brings expertise in the areas of deep learning (DL), computer vision, multimedia signal processing and generative AI. He has theoretical knowledge in deep learning based image processing and generation architectures.

Momin completed his master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. During his master’s degree, he worked as a research assistant in the multi-modal human sensing group at the Fraunhofer IIS. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology.

After his bachelor degree, he has also worked as a software engineer gaining practical industry experience in software quality testing, DevOps and systems architectures.  

At TU Ilmeanu, Momin will be working in the SEASONAL project, where he will support the development of DL models capable of transforming outdoor images across varying environmental conditions such as seasons, weather, and lighting. In the project, he aims to research and expand innovative technologies in the field of multi-domain, multi-modal image to image translation.
