New member at the CCS department

The CCS Department is pleased to welcome Dr. Jingyuan Yu to the team as of July first, 2021.

Dr. Jingyuan Yu received his PhD degree from the Department of Social Psychology, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (February 2021). He obtained his Master's degree in Social Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2017).

His research focuses on computational communication science and communication-psychology interdisciplinary research, with a particular interest in text mining and social network analysis. As part of the DFG project "Deciphering the pandemic public sphere: Government communication, (social) media discourses on and citizens' responses to Covid-19 in Europe and the USA (DECIPHER)" he will hold a postdoctoral position.
