TU Ilmenau, Aynur SarısakaloğluPD Dr. habil. Aynur Sarısakaloğlu presented her latest research at the 71st Annual Conference of the German Communication Association (DGPuK) on March 20, 2026, held at TU Dortmund University.
In the panel “#Communication: Innovations, AI, and the Emergence of Transnational Journalism Structures,” Aynur Sarısakaloğlu delivered a presentation on “Generative AI in Media Discourse.” In addition, she contributed to the special session “Internationalization of German Communication Studies in Times of Political Backlash!” organized by the working group “Becoming International,” where she was involved in drafting a revised conceptualization of “deep internationalization” in research, teaching, institutional practice, as well as knowledge transfer and dialogue in communication studies.
