Islamabad, Pakistan. At the end of November 2025, Bahria University's Media Studies Department hosted a hybrid Faculty Development Workshop on "Integrating AI into the Classroom" led by Professor Emeritus Dr. Martin Löffelholz from the Institute of Media and Communication Science of Technische Universität Ilmenau.

Prof. Löffelholz provided a focused overview of recent developments in artificial intelligence and discussed their implications for teaching and research in the social sciences. The interactive session offered practical insights into applying AI tools in academic settings and encouraged faculty to explore new, responsible ways of integrating AI into their courses. "AI is transforming the way we teach and learn," Prof. Löffelholz noted. "Our responsibility as educators is to guide students in using these technologies thoughtfully and to embrace the opportunities they offer for innovation." Bahria University thanked Professor Löffelholz for his contribution and highlighted the workshop's value in preparing scholars for the rapidly evolving educational landscape.
