Senior Citizens' Academy of the TU Ilmenau is now called TU Ilmenau Citizens' Campus

The Senior Citizens' Academy at TU Ilmenau is open to all citizens and is now called TU Ilmenau Citizens' Campus. Under the new name the lecture series starts again on October 8 after a pandemic-related interruption and presents a wide variety of topics from technology, science, medicine, history and society in the fall semester. The lectures will take place at weekly intervals on Fridays at 3 p.m. in the Faraday lecture hall of the TU Ilmenau in the city center, Weimarer Str. 32 (access from Prof.-Schmidt-Str.). Admission costs five euros per lecture. Information about the program in the press and on the Internet: www.tu-ilmenau.de/buergercampus.

In order for the TU Ilmenau Citizens' Campus can take place again in presence, protective measures must be observed before and during the lectures. Due to limited space, pre-registration is required to attend the lectures.Participants must register at https://turm2.tu-ilmenau.de/course/open?ID=497 and can then register for the next presentation. Participation is also subject to the 3G rule: only fully vaccinated, recovered or tested individuals may attend the lectures. In order to enable contact tracking, data will be collected at the entrance.
