M. HirthAt this year's International Conference on Quality of Multimedia Experience (QoMEX 2025) in Madrid, Florian Schlechte and Yusra Tasnim Farooqi presented their research findings to the international Quality of Experience (QoE) community.
In their paper entitled “Assessing the Influence of E2E Request Latency and Response Length on Waiting Time Satisfaction of LLM Users” they present initial findings on the impact of response time when using large language models on perceived user satisfaction. In particular, they analyzed the relationship between response time and expected response length.
The aim of this research is to understand which factors influence the user experience with AI-supported dialogue systems in order to improve it in a resource-efficient manner.
