The first prize for the best presentation on magnetic properties

On September 27, 2024, Dipl.-Phys. Thomas Jochmann was awarded the first prize for the best paper on magnetic properties (PDF) at the 2024 Joint Workshop on MR Phase, Magnetic Susceptibility and Electrical Properties Mapping in Santiage de Chile.

His work entitled "QSM in the presence of nondipolar phase shifts" was a collaboration between researchers from our institute and researchers from the University at Buffalo in the USA. This award underlines the outstanding research work in the field of quantitative susceptibility measurement (QSM) and the contribution to the progress of biomedical imaging. We congratulate Thomas and the co-authors Fahad Salman, Michael G. Dwyer, Niels Bergsland, Robert Zivadinov, Jens Haueisen and Ferdinand Schweser.
