Experience university: Trial study days at the TU Ilmenau

At the start of the winter semester at TU Ilmenau, which begins these days, pupils of the gymnasiale upper stagecan get a taste of lecture hall air and learn about the courses of study of their choice. From October 17 to 21 and from November 1 to 4, the young people from all over Germany will attend basic lectures together with students from the first semester. In this way, they will find out whether the course of study they are interested in is something for them or whether they should orient themselves differently when choosing their course of study. The TU Ilmenau fulfills the wish of many students to experience a "real" lecture before they decide to study. The university's entire range of subjects from engineering and natural sciences to media and economics is open to them. In addition to the lectures, the students can get information about studying at the TU Ilmenau and ask their questions at the info point in the Kirchhoffbau. Overnight stays are possible in the nearby Ilmenau youth hostel.
