In this workshop, we will explore the internal structure of video files through practical demonstrations and hands-on analysis using real media files and open-source tools.
Topics covered include:
• Difference between containers and codecs
• Understanding bitrate, resolution, and frame rate
• Identifying audio and video stream
Tools that will be used:
• MediaInfo
• FFmpeg
• VLC Media Player
The workshop is designed especially for 1st–2nd semester Master students and does not require prior knowledge. However, everyone is invited to attend.
