Foto: Christian AppelOn June 18, 2026, the closing conference for the “ZO.RRO II – Decarbonization in the Glass Industry” project took place at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Erfurt.
In the presence of Thuringia’s Minister of Energy, Tilo Kummer; Dirk von der Hude, Head of the Division for Policy Issues in Industrial Policy at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE); and many other guests from academia and industry, the results of the project—which has been running since 2019—were presented. The new findings were presented and discussed in expert presentations and at roundtable discussions.
Research associates Moritz Schreiber and Martin Winkelkotte presented the findings developed in collaboration with the ZO.RRO II consortium.
