Couch instead of Campus - Virtual study information week

The TU Ilmenau offers four information days in the second week of July to all prospective students. On these days you can get comprehensive information about the range of courses and the university and get answers to all questions about studying and living in Ilmenau.

Online seminars will introduce all courses of study, but also the general student advisory service and the student union will help you with words and deeds in all questions concerning application, housing, and financing your studies.

Information on studying with a disability or chronic illness and the possibilities of compensating for disadvantages will be available on Tuesday.

Enrolment for all Bachelor's and Diploma courses is possible NC-free from May 16 to October 15. The start of studies with the introductory week in the winter semester is scheduled for October 5.

In the virtual lectures you can get detailed information on a specific topic or study programme. After a short presentation with detailed information, you have the chance to ask your questions directly to the university experts and get advice.

Our online seminars are created on the WebEx platform Meetings, the links are published shortly before the date. You can either download the app or login directly from your browser using the link. The technical requirements for participating in the offers of the Studieninfowoche are an Internet-capable end device: PC, notebook, tablet or smartphone and a good Internet connection.
