The Makerspace@UB is part of the FabLab of TU Ilmenau, which also includes the student workshop UNIKAT and the Ilmkubator. In close exchange with our two partners, we try to offer all interested parties opportunities to try out and create.
The room is open to you during the entire opening hours of the UB. The same terms of use apply to it. We would appreciate if you would follow the rules that are posted in the room and which you can read here.
You can book the room via our web form or you can just come to the service desk. We have space for several groups, so you don't have to worry if the room is already occupied.
You can use the lockers in the room to store your own tools or work. You can borrow the key at the counter for 4 weeks.
