On 18 June 2025, we are offering you an exciting excursion to X-FAB in Erfurt.
X-FAB is an international company headquartered in Erfurt that specializes in the manufacture of analogue and mixed-signal semiconductors and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). With over 800 employees at the Erfurt site and around 4,500 employees worldwide, X-FAB is one of the leading manufacturers of semiconductor components. X-FAB's products are used in the automotive industry, medical technology and many other sectors.
As part of the excursion, you will gain exclusive insights into semiconductor production. In addition to an introduction to the company's areas of activity, you will receive information on internships and insights into the production processes at X-FAB.
The number of places is limited to 20. Registration takes place via the Projects-Moodle of the TU Ilmenau. Registration including transfer of the deposit is possible until 6 June 2025.
