This was also the case at the Christmas soldering event organized by the UNIKAT student workshop and the IlmkubatorLab in the FabLab@TU-Ilmenau, as well as other associations at the TU Ilmenau such as the VDI Young Engineers Ilmenau, the Ilmenau regional group of Engineers without Borders, the VDE University Group Ilmenau, the IEEE Student Branch and the student council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. At their invitation, cool "makers" from the university met today in the machine hall to solder Christmas kits such as Christmas trees in 2D and 3D, stars and hearts in a cozy atmosphere with gingerbread, cookies and punch.
