Cleanup Ilmenau: Spring cleaning on campus

Whether it's cigarette butts, bottles or plastic waste: in 2024, we want to work together to rid our campus and the city of visible and hidden garbage that has not been disposed of properly.

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, a spring waste collection campaign will take place throughout Ilmenau for the fourth time. Once again this year, several collection points will be set up where garbage can be collected. The final collection points will be posted on www.umweltkampagnen.de published.

Whether employees or students: Together, we want to set an example again this year and cordially invite you and your friends and families to join us in spring cleaning!

Let's do something for the environment together and help protect nature!

The meeting point for all those who want to collect on campus, above campus or in the pond area is at 10 a.m. at the Lupe at the Ernst Abbe Center (EAZ). Garbage bags and gloves will also be handed out there. For those who want to collect on the banks of the Ilm, the meeting point is at 10 a.m. at the entrance to the indoor swimming pool. The plan is to collect between 10:00 and 12:30. From 13:00 there will be a debriefing with a meal together in the Finnhütten next to the Fischerhütte.
