The Alliance of Engineering Sciences invites to an "Engineering Sciences Day". Host is on June 23 2021 the TU Ilmenau in the context of its dies academicus.

The morning will be dedicated to teaching. In various keynote lectures, lecturers from different disciplines will shed light on the future of engineering. The view of students and professional practice on future developments in this field will also be an aspect.

Under the motto "Future - Innovation - Interdisciplinarity", the afternoon will be dedicated to young scientists. We are pleased that a total of 30 young scientists from almost all Alliance universities will present a pitch and a poster during the afternoon. Be curious about the very different presentations and project posters.

The event will take place from 13:00 to 18:00 in a hybrid format , so that some of the interested guests can be present and other participants can be present virtually and interactively . However, since the hygiene concept of the TU Ilmenau still applies, we ask all interested parties who would like to participate on site to register by 18 June. The places are limited. A prerequisite for participation in presence is also a current negative Corona test or an effective vaccination.
