🛷 Excursion to the luge track

OK, granted: The temperatures are currently really summery by Ilmenau standards. You don't immediately think of winter sports.

But did you know that Ilmenau is a true winter sports center? Not only can you go sledding, skiing and ice skating here in the region in winter. Many German winter athletes have also learned their craft in Ilmenau and have become successful worldwide.
The luge racers are particularly famous. They like to train in Ilmenau - and can also do so in summer!

Because the Ilmenau luge track is not made of ice and snow, but of plastic, it can also be used in summer! Even better: If there are no training sessions taking place, "normal people" can also use the track and experience the speed kick.

Then come along to our excursion to the "Wolfram Fiedler" Luge Track in Ilmenau!

We will meet at the Mensa on Sunday, 22.08.2021, at 2 p.m. and walk to the track.

Contribution towards expenses: € 1.00 (please bring to the event in cash)
