On September 29, 2023, the Communication Networks Group at the TU Ilmenau and the Telekommunikations-Manager e.V. will host the 17th Ilmenau TKM Workshop on the topic. "Modern Mobile Communication and Artificial Intelligence.".
The workshop, which emerged from the "Telecommunications Management" study program successfully established at the TU Ilmenau for ten years, has been held every two years since 1997. The aim of the event is to promote the exchange of experiences between graduates, students and partners of the TU Ilmenau from education, research and industry with lectures on current topics from information and communication technology. The overarching theme of this year's workshop is "Modern Mobile Communication and Artificial Intelligence".
Graduates of the postgraduate course Telecommunications Manager, but also experts from research and industry as well as all interested parties are cordially invited to submit their technical papers on the challenges of our time.
The topics covered in previous workshops ranged from special technical issues in information and communications technology to communications protocol and service aspects in special application areas such as green computing, automotive, cloud computing, software-defined networks, Internet of Things, big data, smart grid or agile working environments, the status of the introduction of new networks and services, and economic, personnel or legal issues related to telecommunications.
An online conference volume is to be compiled and published from the abstracts of the contributions.
