Relevance of property rights for StartUps - the PATON offer

If you consider that intellectual property accounts for an average of 80% of the company's value, the importance of protecting the business idea becomes clear. It is not just a matter of protecting the brand name and the design created in the company, but also, for example, whether the ideas can be used at all without further ado. Founders of patents should therefore deal with the topics of industrial property rights and related research in good time in order to avoid legal disputes and imitations. The workshop offers a targeted introduction to the basics of industrial property rights and shows the possibilities for on-site research as well as the necessary steps for applying for industrial property rights. In addition, there is an overview of the funding opportunities for intellectual property rights by the EU, the federal government, the state of Thuringia.
