Our Tutor Program for the 2026/2027 Winter Semester

We're looking for YOU to be a tutor!

How do I become a we4you tutor?

  • Application period: July 1 – August 9, 2026, via email
  • Send a short email explaining why you’d like to be one of the 15 tutors and which of the selection interviews you’d like to attend
  • Group selection interviews: August 20, 2026, 10:00–11:30 a.m.; August 24, 2026, 12:00–1:30 p.m. or August 25, 2026, 1:00–2:30 p.m.
  • Workshop for the new team of tutors: September 4–5, 2026, approx. 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
  • Starting October 1, 2026, we’ll kick off with events and our monthly tutor meetings!

What’s there to do at we4you?

Our tutors’ roles are very diverse! Here’s a brief list of the tasks you’ll be responsible for as a tutor:

  • Organizing, conducting, and following up on we4you events:
    • the coffee2meet at the start of the semester
    • Hikes
    • Recreational activities such as bowling, ice skating, outdoor swimming, and much more—we’d love to hear your ideas!
    • Participating in regular tutor meetings
  • Help us with event promotion and marketing:
    • Help us create flyers, posters, and social media posts
    • Help design our website
    • Take photos during your events and post them
    • Be creative!
  • Be a we4you ambassador!
    • Serve as a point of contact for other student groups
    • Build connections within your own and other communities
    • Represent we4you at events and in campus life, e.g., when students arrive

We’ll work with you to decide which activities and events you’ll assist with or oversee. We plan five activities or events per semester with you as the primary tutor.

  • You’ll learn about your responsibilities and meet the other tutors in a workshop
  • The we4you team will support you in bringing your ideas to life
