The annual conference of theInternational Purchasing Supply, Education and Research Association(IPSERA) is the world's most recognized conference in the field of supply chain management. For the 29th conference, held this year at the University of Tennessy in Knoxville, Micha Wirth and Prof. Bach had a so-called. Extended Abstract on the topic "When to use what type of contract? Drafting supplier contracts based on transaction frequency". After completing the double-blind review process, the authors have now been invited to prepare a full paper based on the extended abstract and present it at the conference.

In addition to jointly writing the manuscript, Micha Wirth will test the derived hypotheses in an empirical study using primary data. The data will be provided by his employer, who expects the cooperation with TU Ilmenau to lead to practical implications for the purchasing sector.
