We are pleased to announce that our team members Gunjan Kumari and Wolfgang Broll received the award for the best extended abstract at the 11th International Conference of the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN) for their paper entitled "Implementing an immersive sensory space for autistic individuals: Enhancing therapeutic and learning experiences through technology".

This study explores the potential of immersive sensory spaces as therapeutic and educational tools for autistic individuals, emphasizing the role of multisensory interaction and personalization. The research aims to create a customizable environment that allows autistic participants to shape sensory settings according to their individual needs and preferences, thus promoting self-determination through inclusive design and immersive technologies.
