Application period for Bachelor programs extended

The TU Ilmenau has extended the application deadline for the winter semester 2022/23 for all Bachelor programs until 30 September. The application is possible online via the applicant portal of the TU Ilmenau: www.tu-ilmenau.de/apply. On the TU Ilmenau website, prospective students can also find the necessary application documents and further information on the entire application process: www.tu-ilmenau.de/studieninteressierte/bewerbung.

The start of lectures in the winter semester 2022/23 at the TU Ilmenau is 10 October. Since the student-teacher ratio at the university is very good, first-year students will be  personally supported from the very beginning, even if they cannot start their studies until later. For this purpose, freshmen tutors are available to assist them even after the "Erstiwoche", the introductory program for getting to know each other. Small seminar groups and a large number of student clubs, initiatives and sports activities also help new students in particular to get to know fellow students and to make lasting contacts. The housing situation in Ilmenau is also relaxed compared to other places of study and first semester students can find a shared room or an apartment, even at short notice.
