Cleanup on Campus

On Saturday, March 18, 2023, a cleanup campaign will take place for the fourth time throughout Ilmenau and on the university campus. The city has set up several collection points where trash that has not been properly disposed of can be collected.

Some staff members and students of the university have been supporting the campaign for several years. As a university, however, we would like to set an example and get even more people actively involved in the campaign. Whether you work or study at TU Ilmenau: Join in and bring your family and friends! Reach out to colleagues and fellow students and sign up at info@umweltkampagnen.de if you have the time and desire to participate. The sooner we know how many volunteers will be participating, the better we can coordinate the activity. The plan is to meet up between 10:00 am and 12:00 am. Meeting point is at the magnifying glass in front of the Ernst Abbe Center. Afterwardt, starting at 12:30 pm, there will be a "debriefing" at the International Meeting Center (IBZ) with cooking and eating.
